Well... We did it!! Our "coming out" was the greatest!!! Here is a pic of our float...

It was a FABULOUS time!!! So....after I got home, a friend emailed me (sorry D! I just couldn't resist!!) and said that her husband came home from the parade and this was their discussion:

Husband: "What pageant did Shane (aka Chili Pepper) win?"

My friend: "HUH!?!?!" (utterly confused...because that is NOT something that would occur!)

Husband: "Well..all those ladies were wearing those tiara things so they must have all won a pageant, right?"

My friend: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

Husband: "What is so funny?"

My friend: (explains the background of the TITAN TIARA MAMAS!)

Husband: "Women are WEIRD!"


Well .... probably so... but we have a WONDERFULLY WEIRD time doing it!!!!

HOMECOMING WEEK

Homecoming week is FINALLY here......... hope you got some rest over the weekend.... I know I didn't. 3 kids, soccer tournament in Memphis and a late afternoon championship game don't make for the start of a well rested week. WHO KNEW?!?!

Hope to see all you TTM's tonight. I ran into Xena at Party City and GIRLS did we have fun shopping! Sure hope the man folks don't see the bank statements this month!

Meal Deal Found in Ridgeland

As all good TTM's know, it's important to share with a SISTER when you find a great deal.... and I found one today right in our hometown! Eddie Joe (LOVE HIM) has made an agreement with Jimmy's Meat Market (across the street from Hudson's on Hwy 51.... Red Hot Chili Pepper's favorite store EVER). Where was I.......... oh yes! Jimmy's Meat Market will give a cut back to RIDGELAND TITANS BOOSTER CLUB on every purchase made by a True Titan Fan. Simply tell the guys you are Titan (wearing your Columbia blue should be a dead giveaway) and these sweet fellas will cut RABC a check back at the end of each month, based on your purchases. How sweet are they!??!?! So when getting your dishes ready for this weekend's tailgate, swing on by Jimmy's and tell him how much you appreciate his support of Titan athletics. Tell him Queen Fi Fi sent you, sugar!

The Inaugural Class

Well... our first "meeting" was a success! We now have about 20 new members of the TTM's. We had a blast....eating, chatting, laughing... all with our tiaras on of course!



The Supreme Six decided to liven things up by asking five simple questions of the new members... such as: Who can name the phone numbers to all the Ridgeland Schools? NO ONE! Who carries a calendar with them at all times? ALOT OF FOLKS! Who has the strangest thing in their purse? A CROCHET NEEDLE, TOOTHBRUSH, TIDE TO GO PEN, BUT THE WINNER WAS.... A HORMONE PATCH! Who has more than one cell phone? A TON OF US! Who has the most tubes of lipstick in their purse?



I THINK WE COUNTED 9!!! WOW!

Overall, it was a good time and I hope that everyone remembers that we are all here for one another. If you are going through a hard time, call one us the TTM's and we will be there to listen or to just simply lift your spirits.

What started as a running joke between some friends has morphed into the greatest, funniest group of women that I have ever met! We are the Titan Tiara Mamas (TTM's). The "Supreme Six", who started it all, have invited 20 more fabulous women to join us in some great times. We are a group that all have unique struggles and together we will get through them. When you're down, this is the group of women to turn to for help, support and LAUGHTER. The TTM's are a group that the community and schools can (and will) turn to when they need something done right!! Here are some of our "criteria":

-Being able to multitask is a MUST
-Procrastination is your friend
-Able to get things done right with little notice
-Must have more than 1 phone number to be reached
-Have at least one child in high school OR have one graduated with more coming up
-Must have more than 1 job / pay is optional / volunteering DOES count as a job
-known by the administration at the schools on a first name basis
-Have random JUNK all over your house, because you WILL use it at some point
-Have things in your car to use for all occasions and weather
-Must check e-mail on a daily (if not hourly) basis
